After the coffee carried through roasting it goes dusty in a storage for 15-20 days or more. Then the coffee is transported to a wholesale dealers where it resides for 2-10 days more, then it is shipped again to another wholesale depot of your chosen supermarket store until there is shortage of coffee and they put an order. It then get carried to your supermarket store where it goes much more dusty until you purchase a pack. If your favourite coffee brand is a bestseller it stays for more days, and if your coffee is not a bestseller it may reside there for several months. Should it still be fresh and tasty?
There is the alternative to purchasing and drinking stale coffee. If you wish to drink fresh roasted coffee - you have to buy directly from a roaster company. Each roastery is diverse, but majority of them have significantly much fresher coffee by comparison to any supermarket store. Before you buy from any roastery make inquiries about the time will the coffee be roasted. Roastery can try to assure you that coffee already roasted. Better you try another roastery. The only roaster who is selling you very fresh coffee they roast it just before dispatch.
